Key to the success of AutoCAD has been its ability to grow with the introduction of new features to enable users to draw and edit diagrams faster and more easily. For example, before AutoCAD was introduced, users could only insert an arrow on a drawing. With AutoCAD, users can insert different types of arrows on a drawing. In addition, users can place a line at a specific angle. Before AutoCAD, each CAD user had to learn how to draw a basic line. Now, users can also draw 2D and 3D solids, circles, arcs, angles, and arcs, and they can insert text along a line.

The MacroPascal was a development environment with no graphical capabilities. The MacroPascal was primarily a language-oriented development environment for the programming of Pascal-like languages for use in business-related systems, such as financial spreadsheets, database managers, statistical analysis programs, and inventory control systems.

Geometry

One of AutoCAD’s biggest weaknesses is that it only supports 2D drafting. Even AutoCAD R13 and newer versions will only accept 2D drawings on a white background. There is not yet a feature for 3D drafting.

One may have to use another application to convert 2D drawings to 3D drawings or they may have to spend additional money on converting software, which is expensive. However, there are a few free apps available. There is a converter for Mac called PlaneMaker, which converts drawings to an image that can be viewed in Autodesk’s 3D space called 3D Warehouse.

Autodesk AutoCAD also uses its drawing engine to render 2D drawings as 3D models in their 3D Warehouse. Some other packages and CAD software also support this feature.

AutoCAD also supports section plots, which plot all the edges and faces of the part in a single axis. This is useful to create multi-plane models.

Workgroups and sharing

AutoCAD has a dynamic workgroup feature. The company refers to the current user as the center of the workgroup, and other people can be invited into the workgroup. While there are other 3D CAD programs in existence which also support this, AutoCAD is the only program that can do it and is the only program that lets you do it on the fly.

Workgroups can be used for specific projects and are saved as a feature. To share workgroups, you must be an administrator in AutoCAD. You must be given permission to share workgroups. Once you are granted access, you can share groups with anyone else who has access to AutoCAD.

This is very useful for large architectural projects, where the architect is working on a large number of drawings. The author of these drawings can send copies of those drawings to other members of his workgroup, and the drawings will be automatically added to their AutoCAD workgroups. This system is similar to a public folder in Microsoft’s operating systems, where everyone can access it.

All drawings within a workgroup can be edited in real-time. If you make changes to a drawing in your workgroup, it will reflect in all of the other drawings in the workgroup.

All members of a workgroup are notified when a new drawing is added to the workgroup.

SqlException in an asp.net mvc application

I am receiving the following error:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open database “aspnet-ccda9e9655e6a0b6b_CCDA9E9655E6A0B6B” requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user ‘DOMAIN\SYSTEM’.

The application is hosted on a virtual server on a Windows 2008 Server. IIS 7.5. The application runs fine under my laptop’s local Windows 7 and my laptop’s local Windows Server 2008 R2. I have admin rights to both machines.
When I try to access the application with IE, I get the following error:

The website at returns HTTP 404. The extension of the file is not allowed.

I tried adding NETWORK SERVICE to the dbUsers database role with no luck.
It is hosted in IIS and using SQL Server Express.
The website uses a CNAME record and SSL certificate. I tried removing the record and the website worked fine for a while, then I made changes to the site and now I get this error. I also tried restarting the IIS service and the website.
EDIT: I tried changing the ASPNET USERNAME to NetworkService and changing the database to SQL Express. This changed the error to:
