The first thing to realize about Portable KisKis is that it’s a very basic application. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since it’s designed to be a simple, simple app that provides a secure way to store your info.

This Software is It!

I’ve always had issues with managing my accounts on my desktop. You can click to manually add accounts, and it works but it is not very organized, and it’s impossible to move accounts without the app stopping your computer from working. Also the UI of the app is unnecessarily complicated compared to a few other apps. I was able to learn how to use it in about 30 minutes. It has a number of file types that are natively supported like banks, etc. It is quite easy to move your accounts to different folders. You can easily add zip files to your accounts as they will be automatically extracted. If you pay for the premium version you get two password managers. The premium version is mostly just marketing but it’s still a good tool for organizing your info. There is a budget version that is free, and that has its own security issues. Overall I would say this is the first app I’ve used that is worth paying for.

I have not used this app, but from what I read about it, it sounds like exactly what I need for a life that I am trying to get on track. KisKis includes accounts, transaction logging, budgeting, and a private database of my group of friends.
